Your Third Birthday

My Dearest Avery,

You had a special trip in store for your birthday this year......we took you to Disneyland! Not only that, but we stayed at a Disney resort and ate TWO meals with some of the Disney characters. You were certainly in heaven the entire time and you were very well behaved (except for peeing in the lobby of the hotel when we were checking in and then peeing on mom when she was carrying you). You also did so much better than most kids and didn't even need a stroller (yes, even 10 year olds were in strollers)!

At the parks, you were fascinated by the villains (Captain Hook, etc) and you kept saying you wanted to meet Pete (even though I don't even think he's a character there). You got to meet all of your favorites and get their autographs! And while you liked a lot of the rides, you didn't like the dark rides at all.....much too scary!

This was such a fun trip - even dad enjoyed it! We got to do so much in such a short amount of time and you kept saying we were going back over and over again! 

I'm glad you had such a wonderful birthday and got to ring in your third year right!
