My Dearest Avery,
You have done a lot of growing in the past three months! My goodness - so far you've lost a total of 5 teeth, including one of your top front teeth. There are three more teeth that are wiggly right now! The most recent tooth that you lost forced the tooth fairy to find you while you were camping! But thank goodness she knew where to go!
Since we last posted, you've turned SEVEN! You also had Grandma and Pop down here to visit you for your birthday and you've gone on a road trip to San Diego and you've gone camping on Mount Lemmon! You've also participated in a virtual science camp AND you had your umbilical hernia procedure. You did great during the procedure and said it was a good day (the worst day was the day after the procedure) and being good for the procedure earned you a Parents Say Yes day! And we had so much fun - pictures are below! You also graduated first grade!
You're still very sweet to your brother and you like including him in what you're doing/playing with. You are so into space and the planets, that's all the books you get from the library and sometimes all you talk about! You also like unicorns, legos, your dolls and your stuffed animals. You're into tie-dye and stylin' your clothes your own way. You like to dance when things are going your way and you're generally really good at doing what we tell you to do. You're not good at finding things (i.e. your water bottle) and you are easily distracted. You are fiercely in love with Pascal and you take care of letting him out and picking up his dog poop. You're reading a lot more now and we're trying to test your reading comprehension. You like hugs/cuddling but sometimes get over-zealous with it :) You made up a game in a diorama type of box and we've been playing it off and on every day since you made it up - it's a Halloween game!

Avery, you are my darling little girl and I love you to pieces. It's come to our attention that you don't really know how good to have it - you get annoyed when things don't go your way and you always want to be doing something. We're going to be working on that with you. In the meantime, we still have much more planned for you (which may be a contradiction): a trip to Bryce Canyon/Yellowstone/Grand Tetons/Denver/Albuquerque, horseback riding camp, Second Grade Prep Camp, and even more after the start of the school year. You are one lucky little girl....and we are lucky to have you.
