My Dearest Avery,
You are growing into quite the "big girl" as you like to say. You've got spunk and personality and love to laugh a lot. You're a cuddler and a hand holder and you love to do daddy's hair (which he loves too, by the way). You love to dance and swim and ride your scooter and help us with all the things around the house. Your favorite food has got to be mac and cheese and you adore your little brother, while also protecting your stuff from his destructive ways. You're messy and carefree and you sleep with your coloring books, if that tells you how much you love coloring. I love it when you ask me to play and am trying to cherish every last minute I have of your preschool years.
Since the last post, you've had cousins and grandparents come to visit and we've flown to KC to visit family. You've also had some big milestones, as you turned 5 on 5/5, you graduated preschool, and you moved up in soccer. Despite moving up in soccer, you still rule the field. You've actually been put against a team of 4 and still beat them all - you're assertive and go after what you want. We are so very proud of you.
Here's your life in pictures right now...

Avery, you're a sweetheart. You have such a good heart and you want to help everyone. I even had a parent come up to me and tell me how well you help take care of her son, Ronav, at school. He's shy and nervous and you play with him and make him feel comfortable.
I tell you all the time that you're the best and I mean it.
All my love,
Mom
