My Dearest Avery,
Since I last posted, you've been a fierce Batgirl for Halloween, went on your first field trip, traveled to Roswell for Thanksgiving and then to the NORTH POLE to visit Santa! You're getting good grades in school and it's very telling that you are better at math than English (just like mom and dad). You really enjoy school and are still a social butterfly there. You've been using recess to practice basketball, which is new to us. We've been asking what activities you want to add on top of soccer and you seem to be torn between basketball and dance.
You are still a very good helper at home and you have started earning money for your assistance. You have a difficult time listening and it often takes repeating for you to fully understand and obey our instructions. You've also started picking up on my concern for your well-being (and taking advantage of it with little white lies). So we're learning about the boy who cried wolf!
You're into LOL dolls, legos, biking, playing games and telling jokes. For Christmas, you got a new bike, dolls, legos, costumes, and tickets to the Nutcracker. This was your first ballet and you LOVED it! It's so exciting that I'll get to start taking you to more and more musical/theatre/dance performances!
Here's your life in pictures lately....
